Lamb Brain Fry (Bheja fry) is a classic recipe made with goat brain. This lamb recipe basically involves scrambling the brain with spices and then frying it.
Goat Brain - 1
Pepper powder - 1/4 spoon
Red chilli powder - 1/2 spoon
Cumin powder - 1/4 spoon
Turmeric powder - 1/4 spoon
Curry leaves - Few
Salt - As per taste
Oil - 2 spoons
Chopped onion - 1
Chopped tomato - 1
Garam Masala Powder - 1/4 spoon
Ginger Garlic Power - 1/4 spoon
Soya Sauce - 1/4 spoon
Tasting Salt - 1/4 spoon
Coriander leaves - Few
Wash brain well in water & salt,turmeric powder,handle it very gently and use it on the day of purchase itself.
Take a pan add oil saute with masala,chopped onions,salt cook till it becomes light brown colour,Add Turmeric,ginger garlic paste,green chillies,curry leaves,pepper powder,coriander powder,red chilli powder saute all this for few min,Cut brain in equal pieces and add to the masala cook for 5 min by closing with a lid,Add Tasting Salt & Soya Sauce 1/4 spoon,Lastly add chopped Coriander,until all the masala gets adhered well then remove from flame.Deep-fried brain of lamb Serve.
